The Photo Shoot... 9 FAQ's.

1.     How long does the photo shoot last?

• A typical photo shoot with one client will last for approximately an hour. We won't be stopping exactly one hour from when we started, but that is roughly how long it usually takes.
• Models wishing to add to their portfolio may require the longer shoot of three hours. This will give you time to change outfits and add to make-up if you wish.

2.     How many photos will I get from the photo shoot?

• We don't have a set number of shots, but we will usually end up with around 70 shots to choose from after a one hour shoot, and about 120 shots from a three hour shoot. This is always more than enough; any more than that and you will just have hundreds of shots that all look virtually the same. Quality is always better than quantity!

3.     I don't usually like having my photo taken, I'm nervous about what to do!

• Have a look through the helpful tips and read the advice there about what to wear, how to pose and how we shall guide you through the shoot, making sure that you will get the shots you want. If you have any worries or concerns, just ask!
• We will show you the images as we go along so that you can see how well it's going and give you confidence that you are going to look great!

4.    What if I don't like the photos?

• We will show you the images as we go along through the shoot. If you don't like the way they look, let us know at the time and we can try something different.
• If you don't like any of the finished photographs, return all images and products to us and we shall offer you either your money back or another shoot free.

5.     What if I can't make it to the photo shoot?

• Please check our cancellation policy and please do let us know so that we can arrange another shoot.

6.     I love the intimate portraits and would like to try it, but I'm a bit shy. Will anyone else be there?

• There will always be our friendly female photographer and usually a female assistant (to help with lighting, reflectors, etc.).  No-one else will be allowed into the shoot unless they are there at your request. No-one else will see your shots unless you choose to show them!

7.     Can I bring someone with me to the photo shoot?

• You may bring one person with you to the photo shoot, but they must be supportive of what we are trying to achieve and understanding of the process. It is important that you are not distracted or put off by someone else, as this will show in your photographs that you are not relaxed and focused on the shoot. We ask that they do not interfere with the shoot or any of our equipment or they may be politely asked to wait elsewhere.

8.     I'm not 16 yet, will you do a photo shoot with me?

• Yes, but only if a responsible adult is with you throughout the entire shoot. We will never do a photo shoot with anyone under the age of 16 if you cannot be accompanied by someone over the age of 21.

9.     Do you do nude photographs?

• Yes, we do fine art nude photographs, as well as boudoir shoots and glamorous photography. All our shots are taken respectfully and within your limits. We will never ask you to do anything you are uncomfortable with.
• Whatever you have in mind, you can discuss it with us first in confidence, and you can be sure that we won't be shocked! There are certain things that we will not agree to do, but please feel free to ask... although we have some limits, we won't know what they are until we are asked!
